Day Trip to Thirsk and the Races
Leaving Leeds late morning you have the choice of spending the afternoon in Thirsk or going to the Races or do a bit of both.
Maybe visit the World of James Herriot, going on one of the many walks around the market town and along the river, visit the independent shops or visit Thirsk Museum, birthplace of Thomas Lord, founder of Lord's Cricket Ground.

Fink Hill Car Park, Horsforth - 11.00
Queens Arms, Horsforth - 11.10
Asda Car Park, Holt Park - 11.20
The coach will drop people in Thirsk and then go onto the racecourse. If racegoers want to spend some time in Thirsk first they can then make their own way to the racecourse.
The Coach will leave Thirsk at approximately 5 pm and the racecourse at 5.30pm

Admission to the races will be purchased by members at the racecourse on the day- concessionary ticket - £12.00
