This group gets members together for companionable visits to art exhibitions, particularly temporary special shows at galleries, museums, stately homes, etc in Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, York, Sheffield and other accessible locations. It operates mainly through a WhatsApp Group. Any member who has an exhibition in mind posts a suggestion on the Group Chat. This results in ad hoc meet-ups of varying frequency, rather than a regular programme of events.
You don’t need to have any knowledge of art. In the spirit of the U3A we aim to enjoy a range of experiences and all learn from each other.
